San Francisco Opera is pleased to invite University of California alumni
and their guests to enjoy the popular opera <i>La Bohème</i>. Often
described as "the best love story ever sung," <i>La Bohème</i>
follows the romance of the poet Rodolfo and the beautiful Mimì, set in
the colorful garrets of Paris. This will be a special event not only for
opera buffs, but is also a wonderful opportunity for those who have never
attended the opera to see what all the excitement is about!<br><br>
Update your opera knowledge at our free pre-opera talk in the main
theatre and learn something that will surely impress your friends and
family. At the first intermission, meet up with California’s best alumni

War Memorial Opera House, 301 Van Ness Avenue. <br>
