UC Alumni Night at the Opera

San Francisco Opera is pleased to invite University of California alumni 
and their guests to enjoy the popular opera La Bohème. Often described as 
"the best love story ever sung," La Bohème follows the romance of the poet 
Rodolfo and the beautiful Mimì, set in the colorful garrets of Paris. This 
will be a special event not only for opera buffs, but is also a wonderful 
opportunity for those who have never attended the opera to see what all the 
excitement is about!

Update your opera knowledge at our free pre-opera talk in the main theatre 
and learn something that will surely impress your friends and family. At 
the first intermission, meet up with California’s best alumni group for 
your private champagne toast at the Grand Tier North Promenade.

6:30 pm  Join us at SFO’s regularly scheduled pre-Opera Talk by Heather 
Hadlock giving the latest insight into the world of La Bohème. Enter 
through carriage entrance, on north side of Opera House.
7:30 pm    Performance of La Bohème begins at the War Memorial Opera House, 
301 Van Ness Avenue.
1st Intermission  Find your fellow UC alumni at the Grand Tier North 
Promenade for your private champagne toast.
